Updated review: Relish!

I've had the opportunity to work with so many great companies and test out so many wonderful products during the months that I've been doing this review blog.  But one of the products that had the biggest impact on our family life has been the Relish! meal planning service.  I've always been stressed out by dinnertime, mainly because I never had time during the day to figure out what I was going to make, and when I did figure something out, I invariably didn't have all the ingredients on hand.  Which meant a trip to the grocery store, where I would end up spending lots of money on tons of random items.

We've been using the Relish! planning service every week for months now, and I am still as in love with it as I was the first week.  It's been great to be able to just log in, pick my meals, print out my shopping list and go.  We've also liked the ability to mark the recipes that we really enjoy, so we can make them again later.

Relish! has recently improved the service, and I'm thrilled with the changes. Instead of just picking 5 recipes from a list of 10, you can chose an unlimited number to print out, from a much larger list of options. If you're having a week that you need a bunch of slow cooker recipes, just go to the slow cooker section. If, like me, you're trying to lose some weight, then pick recipes from the low calorie section. Some weeks I've had trouble finding 5 recipes that fit in with my criterion, but this week I ended up with 6 recipes that look good, and I could have easily had many more.  You still also get all the great party-planning menus and the monthly freezer menus, so that's unchanged.

So, if you're looking for something to make your evenings much less stressful and your dinnertime much more yummy, drop by Relish!. The monthly subscription is only $7, and well worth the cost.
