I have to admit, I have a number of online obsessions- one of which is checking the weather forecast several times per day. As I've mentioned before- I live in the city and I do almost all my outings on foot with the kids in the stroller. So I need to know what the weather's going to be like at different times in the day so I can plan accordingly. If it's going to rain in the afternoon, then the kids are getting packed up in the stroller first thing in the morning so that we don't get caught in a storm.
So I'm totally in love with the newly redesigned AccuWeather site! It's so user-friendly and everything is so easy to find. You just put in your city's name or zipcode, and a page comes up with the forecast for today and tomorrow, a picture of the weather radar for your city, and a link to a video of your local forecast! With one click you can get the weekend forecast, extended forecast and the forecast for the month. Also, they have great tools that show which days will be bad for allergies, migraines and cardiac health. In addition to all that, there's a cool chart that suggests what days would be good for outdoor projects and gardening, and one for what days would be best for those indoor projects you need to do.
You will be amazed at all of the information that you can access through AccuWeather. This is going on the list of my favorite webpages, and I know it's going to be such a useful tool for planning my outings with my kids!
