There's one thing that Daniel and I are quickly realizing is a truth of life with two kids- it's expensive! It seems that every time we turn around someone is outgrowing something or we have a birthday party to attend or baby shower to buy a gift for. Lots of shopping, all the time! And, since I'm a car-less city dweller, I tend to do most of my shopping online.
When I shop online, I often will remember to look for coupons, but it seems like that requires me to be doing lots of searches and looking all over the internet. So I was happy to learn about Savings.com coupons. Savings.com is a really handy site- it is a central clearinghouse for online coupons and promotional discount, and it has coupons for pretty much every store that I could imagine shopping at online. When I was browsing the site, I was also mentally going through the list of online stores that I've shopped at recently- Amazon? There. Sephora? Yep. Joann Fabrics? Looking for a U-verse coupon code from AT&T? Also there, along with so many others.
The site is really easy to search- you can search stores by name or look through a list of stores, categories, or brand. I also like that, under each coupon code or deal, there's a place for people to give input on the coupon/deal including whether they like it, if they have a comment about it, or if they've had a problem. And there's also a handy way to share the deal with others via email, Twitter, Facebook, Digg, Reddit or del.icio.us.
This is definitely a site that I am bookmarking for future online shopping trips- if you're looking for good deals, you should take a look too!
