Review: Thomas & Friends- Hero of the Rails
My son loves Thomas the Tank Engine. Probably more than he loves his father and me. Way more. About 99% of Ethan's conversations revolve around choo-choos and train tracks and conductors. And it's a rare night that he doesn't fall asleep while holding his Thomas and Toby engines.
So when I saw that our new Redbox (we now have one next door!) had Thomas & Friends- Hero of the Rails, I decided to rent it for Ethan. And it was a big hit!
I like this Thomas movie because in it the trains are animated- not like the older episodes that we usually watch where nothing moves in the scenes except the eyes of the trains. This is a much more modern show with good animation of the characters and multiple people providing the voices for the different trains, not just one narrator doing all the voices. All the old favorite trains are in this movie, like Thomas, Percy, Emily and Gordon, as well as some new characters, Hiro and Spencer. The movie is about 60 minutes long, so it's a good length for a kids' movie.
If your child is a big Thomas fan, you should definitely check this movie out!
