Review: FoodShouldTasteGood chips

I had a really fun surprise waiting at my front door the other day- this box, full of FoodShouldTasteGood chips! Now that's the makings of a really great day! Since then, my family and I have been eating our way through the box, trying out all the different yummy varieties of chips.

FoodShouldTasteGood chips are the brainchild of Pete Lescoe, who came up with these chips after many years of working in the food industry. He decided to use wholesome, all natural ingredients and bake them inside a chip to come up with a new snack.  And he succeeded in making something really delicious!

These chips come in a great variety of flavors, so you can find a favorite for yourself. Options include: Blue Corn, Yellow Corn, Lime, Jalapeno, Cheddar, Olive, Multigrain, Chocolate, Sweet Potato and The Works.  All are gluten-free, and most are dairy-free and vegan (with the exception of the Cheddar flavor). The ingredients in the chips are all-natural, not genetically modified and purchased from suppliers in the USA and Canada.  When I looked at the ingredient list on my bags of chips, I was really struck by the brevity of the list.  For example, the "Sweet Potato" flavor has only 6 ingredients- and all things that I recognize and can pronounce!

Honestly, I really liked all of the flavors of chips. For my favorite of the bunch, I'm torn between Olive and Chocolate. The Chocolate chips really surprised me- they aren't very sweet, but the nice chocolate taste in combination with a bit of saltiness is just perfect. It makes a great option when I can't decide if I want dessert or a salty snack! I also really like that each bag of chips includes suggestions for accompaniments that would make that particular flavor taste even more amazing.
