Last night was Sunday night- the end to a busy weekend of attending a wedding, potty-training, cleaning closets, going to church, grocery shopping, and even fitting in a run! So by last night I was pretty worn out, and had no energy for cooking dinner. Thankfully, I had a review to do- a review of Rustic Crust Pizza! Rustic Crust is a flatbread pizza- here's some more information from the Rustic Crust website:
At Rustic Crust, we mix time-honored tradition with whole grain health to make the world's best organic and all natural pizza crust, sauce and frozen flatbread pizzas. Our bakers searched the globe for authentic recipes with palate pleasing flavor. Bring your friends and family together for a new take on the Old World.
We selected the Organic Basil Pesto & Roasted Red Pepper frozen pizza. This is one of seven different varieties of frozen Rustic Crust pizzas. See the full list here! The pizza was super-quick to make- once I had preheated our oven, I just popped the pizza in the oven and pulled out a wonderful, perfectly cooked pizza six minutes later. This was one of the best pizzas that I have eaten in a long time. I loved the flatbread pizza crust- it's a nice compromise between a thin and a thick crust. The flavors and seasoning worked so well together and I think we had eaten the whole pizza in a matter of two minutes. The pizza is only 10" in size, so you might need more than one if you are sharing with someone with a big appetite, but it was a perfect size for us.
Rustic Crust also makes ready-made crusts and pizza sauce, if you want to make your own pizza. My only complaint about Rustic Crust pizza is that they aren't sold at any stores near me, so I have to drive to find one. Probably a good thing for my waistline :) Here's the link to the store locator, so you can find a store near you that sells these yummy pizzas.
Disclosure: I received a coupon for a Rustic Crust pizza so that I could try it out for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.
