Review: Travel alarm clock from Executive Gift Shoppe

I feel like I'm always confessing odd things about myself here on this blog... but I'm going to keep it up! Here's a new one for you all- I can't sleep unless I have a clock sitting on my nightstand or somewhere within arm's reach. And I'm paranoid that the electricity is going to go out in the middle of the night, and I'll wake up and not know what time it is! I know, a little nuts, right?  What this means for me is that I love small, battery-operated clocks, and am always searching for a new great one.

So I was really excited to receive a new travel alarm clock from the Executive Gift Shoppe, thanks to the Executive Gift Shoppe and Family Review Network. After looking at all the many, many options on the Executive Gift Shoppe site, I chose the Flashlight Travel Alarm Clock. This little clock does it all- has a flashlight, shows the time, the date and the day of the week, serves as an alarm, and even has a temperature display!

I really have been enjoying this little clock. It's small and fits neatly on my bedside stand. When I travel, it's definitely going to be easy to pack in a small corner of my bag and won't take up much space. It's easy to set the time and the alarm.  I thought that the alarm was at a really good volume- not loud enough to wake up the whole house, but not something I could sleep through either. I love having so many things on the display of this clock and having a built-in flashlight as well.

My only VERY minor complaint is one that I have about almost all travel clocks- all the buttons used to set time or change the mode of the clock from time to alarm beep when press them. So if (okay, when), I change my mind about getting up early, there's a good bit of beeping as I set the alarm time for later. But the beeps aren't too loud, and my husband doesn't seem to be disturbed by them, so it's not a big issue.

Here's my cute little clock on my nightstand.

This reminds me that I need to find a clock/cd player combo for Graham's room. :)
