My son has been really obsessed by a particular DVD lately. It's all he ever wants to watch, and he begs to watch it every day. But yesterday we received a new show, Timmy Time!, in the mail, and after much crying and wailing from Ethan, I managed to convince him to take a break from his much beloved movie and give Timmy Time! a try.
He watched the two episodes four times each last night. And twice today. And probably would happily watch the show all day, if I let him! So it's definitely a hit with us, and I think that there are going to be a lot of other preschoolers in love with Timmy Time! when it premieres on September 13 on Playhouse Disney.
Timmy Time! is a stop-motion animated series about a little lamb and his adventures in preschool. If your kids are familiar with the show Shaun the Sheep, then they will recognize Timmy as the baby lamb on that show who frequently gets into chaotic adventures. Now he's off to preschool where he has to learn life lessons such as playing nicely with others.
All the dialogue in the show is in "animal", so your kids will quickly learn all the sounds of the animal characters on the show! Even though there's no human dialogue, the show is funny and clever and I laughed at many of Timmy's actions and escapades and saw much of my own preschooler in what Timmy was doing. Ethan thinks the show is hysterical and he laughs through the episodes every time he watches them. Even Vivian sat still and watched both the episodes that we received several times, so it's a good show for the younger set too! We can't wait to see more of this adorable show!
