Review and giveaway (closed): Squinkies!

Normally when toys arrive, I open the box, check things out, then pass the toys off to my kids for them to play. Not so with one box that arrived this week.  Because this box contained Squinkies, and it was mine! All mine!

Squinkies are tiny little toys that come in a little toy bubble. They're made of soft plastic,  slightly squishable and totally cute. Each pack contains 16 Squinkies, including 4 surprise Squinkies.  I received one bubble pack from each of the new series, 7, 8 and 9. I knew that I was going to be keeping one of these bubble packs for myself and giving away two here- the only problem was that I couldn't decide which one I wanted to keep.

Seriously, people, I spent a ridiculous amount of time looking at all of the cute Squinkies, deciding which ones I liked best and which set had the cutest toys in it. I would decide, put the other two bubble packs away, sit down to open my chosen pack, then would second guess myself and start the whole process over again. And I am almost 34 years old!

I finally did choose and open one of the bubble packs, and had great fun looking at all of the little Squinkies and showing them off to my husband. He was slightly less enthused, but agreed that they are very cute.  My favorite Squinkie from my pack is a tiny little bluebird- I have it sitting on my kitchen counter- it's my Bluebird of Happiness!

You can get little playsets and displays for your Squinkies or you can use them for pencil toppers or just set them on your desk or shelf and enjoy their cuteness!  I love the idea of a fun collection that doesn't take up much space. If your child falls in love with these, they aren't going to take over your whole house, since they're so little. On that note, the small size of these does make them best in homes with kids 4 and up.  I'm keeping mine out of reach of my little people!
