My 5th wedding anniversary is later this week, so I've been spending a lot of time reflecting on the past 5 years. If you had told me then that I would now be a stay-at-home mom of two little kids, I would have laughed hysterically. Back in 2006 I was happily working at a career that I enjoyed, with no intention of ever leaving it. In addition to my job, I was involved in a number of church groups and ministries. My social calendar was full of things that I enjoyed and found fulfilling.
But life happens, and things change. While I love my life as it is now, I've been feeling the lack of "something to do". Specifically something that can be my thing. So I was really glad to be asked to be a part of a book blog tour, for a wonderful new book by Kathi Lipp, called The Me Project. Here's a bit about the book:

I really, really love this book. Unlike many other "find your passion" books, this one left me feeling energized and hopeful, rather than overwhelmed. Kathi understands that life is busy, and she wrote the book from the perspective of one busy woman to another. The 21 daily projects in the book are doable and make sense. The Me Project makes you stop and evaluate your life and actually take some time to figure out some goals and start working toward achieving them. For my challenge, I'm working toward the goal of running a 10K this summer. It's been on my mind, and now I'm motivated and equipped to get going with my training!
