Things we still love: Strider PREbike

I've been thinking a lot lately about all the things I've gotten to review here on this blog- and I decided to revisit some of the things that we still use and love!  The first is my son's hands-down favorite thing ever- his Strider PREbike from Strider Sports. Here's a bit about these bikes, in case you're new to the PREbike idea:
With the Strider™ PREbike, there are no "tricycle tip-overs" or "training-wheel wobbles" to create a fear, hesitancy, or dislike of bike riding.  The Strider™ running bike helps toddlers learn balance and coordination BEFORE pedaling, which develops glittering confidence. So ditch the tricycle and training wheels, and teach your child to ride a bike sooner and safer with a Strider™
My son has been riding his Strider PREbike for quite a while now. You can see my earlier posts here. He's still on the very low end of the spectrum for height and doesn't even register on the weight charts, but he's big enough for a Strider! Today we went out in the Seattle sunshine and he rode his bike almost 3 miles!  Seriously, that's impressive for a 3 1/2 year old!  If you're thinking about a bike for your little one, but know that he/she isn't ready for a full-sized bike, take a look at Strider!

Disclosure: I received a Strider PREbike several years ago to review for myself. I have not been compensated in any other way since then and receive no compensation for extra posts, such as this one. Just writing about something we use and really love!
