I ended up making about 4 different little tapas and adding some store-bought fancy cupcakes to the table of goodies. Perfect Tapas was a super easy cookbook, and everything turned out great. I can't wait to try more of the 100+ recipes. Of course we had lots of Tapena wines on hand too- check out the spread!
Here's a bit about the Tapena wines, from their website:
Inspired by the energy of the lively tapas bars throughout Spain, these distinctive food-friendly wines from Spain's most successful wine-making family arrive with a rich, sleek style that is turning heads. We were only able to find the two red wines, the Tempranillo and the Garnacha at our local store, but I'm definitely going to be watching out for the other two! Most of my guests tried both the reds, and we were all big fans of the Garnacha. The taste went perfectly with our food and just was a nice, easy-to-drink, flavor. I think I have some converts to Tapena wine in my group of friends! In addition to being a nice taste, Tapena wine is an affordable option, usually under $10 per bottle.
With Tapeña, any table becomes the best in the house. Tapeña's Tempranillo, Garnacha, Verdejo and Rosé are as vibrant as Spain itself.
So, if you're looking for a nice wine for your next gathering, look for Tapena at your store! And think about doing a tapas party- it's a fun, easy way to try lots of foods and have a great time while doing so.
Disclosure: I received a party box from House Party, which included a gift card and a partial rebate for the wine, to help me throw this party. I did not receive any other compensation and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.
