Review and giveaway (2 winners!): Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers

I admit it. I've been seeing the TV commercials for Huggies Little Movers Slip-On diapers for a while now. And my first reaction when I saw this new product was to roll my eyes and think "really? We need slip on diapers? What's the big deal about putting diapers on the regular way?"  Still, when I got the opportunity to review these new diapers, I agreed, since I'm always willing to try something new. And because we always can use more diapers around here.

Before I go any further- in case you haven't seen the TV commercials, here's a bit about Huggies Little Movers:
HUGGIES® Little Movers Slip-On* Diapers make it easy to change active, squirmy babies of all kinds – just catch, slip-on, and release! Plus, HUGGIES® Little Movers Slip-On Diapers feature the proven leakage protection of the HUGGIES® LEAK LOCK® System.
  • Stretchy sides for a fuss-free fit
  • Tabs for easy removal and disposal
  • HUGGIES LEAK LOCK® System – the protection and security you both need between changes
  • Absorb-away layers and long-lasting core lock in wetness and keep your baby dry
  • Stopping guards around the legs and waist help keep wetness in
Even though I was initially skeptical about these diapers, Vivian and I are now totally convinced of their awesomeness. Vivian is 2 1/2, and she's almost ready for potty-training, but not quite.  She is at the age where she is tired of lying down to have her diaper changed though, so when she saw that she could just step into these diapers, she was completely thrilled. She also liked that, since the sides were already closed when she put them on, they looked more like underwear than diapers. I think this is going to be a good first start for us with the transition out of diapers.

I also really like these slip-on diapers for when we're out and about.  Yesterday we were at a place that didn't have a changing table, and instead of lying Vivian down on a random floor someplace, we just changed her diaper while she was standing up. Just took off the old one and slipped on a new one. Very simple.

The diapers themselves are nice and absorbent and seem to really fit Vivian well. The sides stay firmly closed until you choose to pull them open.  I haven't had any problem with them coming open, no matter how much Vivian is running around and wiggling. And they feature a cute picture of Tigger on the front- another thing that Vivian loves! We're definitely fans of Huggies Little Movers Slip-On diapers!

And I have good news for you- one lucky winner will win a pack of Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers to try on your wiggly little one!  Open to US mailing addresses only, enter at the Rafflecopter widget below.
