I've been a huge fan of Cascade Ice sparkling water for a long time now and frequently pick one up when I'm out and about. It's got a nice bit of carbonation, is caffeine-free and calorie-free, and comes in a huge variety of yummy flavors. On the night of the party, I got to try some flavors that I hadn't sampled before- like Strawberry Chocolate (which really does taste like a chocolate covered strawberry!)
I wasn't aware of Cascade Ice's zero calorie drink mixers before the party, but I'm glad to know about them now! You can get Appletini, Mojito, Cosmopolitan, Margarita, Pina Colada, or Lemon Drop mixers, all with no calories. I had a margarita- it clocked in around 70 calories (apparently normal margaritas are more like 500 calories...) and it tasted great. I'm so stocking up on these mixers before my next party.
The party was hosted at a new blow dry bar in downtown Seattle called Mane Blow Dry Bar. In general, people in Seattle are pretty low-maintenance with their hair, thanks to our rain and wind and outdoorsy lifestyles. Still, it's nice to be pampered now and then, and this is a great place to do it. Mane Blow Dry Bar is really gorgeous- I felt fancier after just walking through the door!
All in all, it was a fun evening and I was glad to learn more about Cascade Ice Sparkling Water and also find out about Mane!
Disclosure: I received an invite to this party for myself and my friend, and we received small goodie bags from Mane and Cascade Ice. I was under no obligation to write a post of any sort about this event, and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.
