Bring the kiddos to Teatro ZinZanni's historic spiegeltent for an all-new family production featuring Seattle "kindie" rockers Recess Monkey. With live musical inspiration from Recess Monkey's upcoming circus-themed album "In Tents," this kid-oriented circus spectacular will feature performers from Teatro ZinZanni's renowned dinner shows as well as Seattle's circus stars of tomorrow. Arrive early for pre-show activities and snacks!
We arrived early at the show, since I'd heard there were carnival games and snacks, and if that's not a reason to get somewhere early, I don't know what is!

Both Ethan and I were in awe when we walked through the front door- everything inside Teatro Zinzanni is beautiful and romantic and elegant. The people at Teatro Zinzanni were so friendly and fun and they made us feel so welcome. We had a great time playing the games- they were all simple enough for even the little ones to play, and every game had a prize! Ethan's been having fun since Saturday playing a pretend version of the fishing game.

|Ethan was so in to the popcorn and watching everything that he failed to notice the ribbon I had placed on top of his head :)|

The Teatro ZinZanni tent feels like a very intimate venue, so no matter where you're seated, you have a great view of the action and feel like part of the show. Most of the kids at the performance went and sat right next to the stage in a special area where they could (and did!) dance to their heart's content. There's nothing as much fun as watching a bunch of little kids dance- it made my day!
If you're in the Seattle area and are looking for a fun family activity, definitely consider attending a performance of "In Tents". The venue is gorgeous, the music is fabulous and the performances are fun for the whole family. Oh and ticket prices are very reasonable too (ranging from $19-$23). Definitely don't miss this show!
"In Tents" will be on selected weekends between now and July 15th. For showtime and ticket information, visit the Teatro ZinZanni website.
Disclosure: I received tickets for my son and I to attend this show. I was under no obligation to post a positive review and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.
