Review: Disney Licensed EZ Bed

My kids are 5 and 3 now, and they've outgrown the Pack 'N Play and other baby beds that we've used while traveling.  So I was looking for a new solution when I came across the Disney Licensed EZ beds at Target.  Since the beds feature Cars characters or Disney Princesses (my kids two favorite things), they were very excited when they saw these beds.  Here's a bit about these beds, from the Target website:

I was a little hesitant to purchase these mattresses, since they got poor reviews on the Target website.  Still, they met our needs for travel, so we went ahead and bought them (rather, the grandparents bought them).  Inflation was easy with a hair dryer, and putting the sheet/comforter on the bed was simple.  We've had them blown up for several days now, and while they have lost some air, they're still inflated.
Vivian, all snuggled up in her bed

Honestly, the biggest gripe about these beds is that the bottom sheet does not stay on well, especially when the mattress isn't fully inflated. This means a lot of fixing of the sheet for the adults.  Still, these mattresses are a nice size and my kids love them.  They keep dragging them around the condo and getting in and snuggling up.  I'm a little concerned that the mattresses will break if my kids jump on them or are too rough, as the mattresses don't seem super sturdy.   We're trying to make sure the kids are gentle with the mattresses, and hopefully that'll help extend the useability of these beds.

Overall, I think these mattresses will be great for occasional use at the various grandparents' homes and my kids love them!
