Review: Teatro ZinZanni presents- The King's Wish (with Caspar Babypants!)

* Disclosure- I received two tickets to attend and review this show, but purchased the other two tickets myself, so that my whole family could attend.  All opinions posted here are ours and ours alone.

Last year Ethan and I had the opportunity to visit Teatro ZinZanni for their family-friendly show, which last year was called "In Tents".  We had such a blast at that, that I was super excited when I got invited to come check out this year's show "The King's Wish".  And even more excited when I realized the show was falling on my daughter's 4th birthday.  Since the family wanted to spend Vivian's birthday together, I accepted the review tickets and then bought two more so that Daniel and Ethan could also come along. Here's a bit about the show, from the Teatro ZinZanni website:
Bring the kiddos to Teatro ZinZanni's historic spiegeltent for another all-new family production featuring Seattle "kindie" sensation Caspar Babypants. With live sing-a-long favorites from Caspar Babypants' kiddie repertoire, this kid-oriented circus spectacular will feature performers from Teatro ZinZanni's renowned dinner shows as well as Seattle's circus stars of tomorrow.
Saturday 6/1, Sunday 6/2, Saturday 6/8, Saturday 6/15, Sunday 6/16, Saturday 6/22, Sunday 6/23, Saturday 6/29, Sunday 6/30

11am-12:15pm | Tickets start at $19

Teatro ZinZanni is located right near the Seattle Center. From the outside, it just looks like some metal boxes, but inside is the 103-year old SpiegelTent- a magical wonderland of lights and draperies and mirrors and stained glass.  Seating is available at booths around the outside or on chairs on the ground. Honestly though, at the kids' show no one really sits down. Most of the kids were sitting on the floor near the stage, where they could be close to the music to dance and jump along.

The show was a circus theme, with some seriously impressive circus acts, including a couple from some really talented kids! There was lots to ooh and ahh over, plenty of funny jokes and silliness to laugh at, and, of course, the wonderful music of Caspar Babypants to tie everything together. All in all, the show took a little over an hour, but it moved quickly and my kids were thrilled by the entire show. It's a high-energy, fun experience for the whole family!
