The kids have a new addition to their library of books. It's a book from Nancy Tillman, the author of On the Night You Were Born, and it's called I'd Know You Anywhere, My Love. Here's a bit about it, from a press release that I received:
Inspired by her own children who often pretended to be different animals, I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love is written from the point of view of a mother whose child becomes a bear cub, a rhino, a ringtail raccoon, among other animals. Filled with affirmation, I’d Know You Anywhere, My Love teaches children to dream big and remain confident that, whatever they aspire to be, they will be recognized and loved. This book is really sweet, with text that made me smile and with wonderful illustrations of animals to bring the story to life. It's a simple little book, so it's good for reading with kids. And it has a wonderful message of love and acceptance. Overall, this is an excellent book and a great addition to our home library.
