Even though I work from home and often go days without venturing much into the outside world, my usual mom uniform is not t-shirts and jeans, but skirts and dresses. I've loved dresses since I was a child- one of my earliest memories is fighting with my mom over wanting to wear a dress! So I love looking at pictures and drooling over sites like Shabby Apple that are stuffed full of gorgeous dresses and skirts. Everything is so pretty! So when I got the opportunity to review a dress from Shabby Apple, I jumped on the opportunity.
One of the things I like best about Shabby Apple is that their clothing are largely in the style of vintage clothing. It's all just so feminine and romantic! I ended up choosing the My Vow to You dress:
As with many reviews, the hardest part of the process was that I loved all of the dresses. But I liked the color and style of this one. After I placed my order, it arrived quickly. The fabric is really soft and a nice weight- not too heavy for summertime, but you also could easily layer it with a sweater in the winter. All around, really pretty.
Unfortunately, I've been slacking off on the exercise lately and have been traveling and not eating very healthily, so the zipper and I had a difference of opinion. So you're going to have to wait a bit to see a picture of me in the dress. But let me tell you, it's very motivating to lose weight with a dress this pretty hanging in my closet!
So, if you're looking for a wardrobe change, check out the Shabby Apple website! You'll love what you see!You can also find Shabby Apple on Facebook!
