Review: Tea of a Kind

Disclosure: I received samples of this product to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

I don't rave a whole lot about beverages here on the blog. It's just not a high priority of mine, most of the time.  But recently one came into our life that I absolutely adore and have been telling everyone about. It's called Tea of a Kind, and here's a bit about it from a press release that I received:

Tea of a Kind - InterBev’s 2012 Award Winner for “Best Ready to Drink Tea or Coffee”- has helped lead this beverage revolution with its globally patented “Gizmo Closure and Delivery System” - a nitrogen pressurized chamber that protects the tea (without the use of  preservatives) and its all-natural ingredients & antioxidants from degradation until the point of consumption. When the cap is twisted, the Gizmo closure instantly mixes a fresh tea at 90 PSI, resulting in a dramatic color transformation that’s fun to watch! Here’s a link to see the Gizmo in action:

Tea of a Kind comes in lovely, curvy bottles, and when you first pick it up at the store, it just looks like a bottle of water.  But the amazingly cool lid hides a surprise- when you turn it the tea and flavorings rush out and you have a freshly brewed bottle of tea! It is SO cool!

Oh, and the tea itself is really delicious.  I (grudgingly) shared one of the bottles of tea with Daniel and we both agreed that the flavors are nice and fresh and the tea had just a hint of sweetness.  My favorite was the Pomegranate Acai White Tea, while Daniel really liked the Citrus Mint Green Tea.  The other option, the Peach Ginger Black Tea was also really good too though! And the teas are only 20 calories per bottle! LOVE!

After discovering Tea of a Kind, I wanted more, and was relieved to see that it is available at a store fairly near my home. A shopping trip is definitely in my near future!
