I knew travel would change for me when I became a parent, but I was not prepared for the main challenge- traveling with carseats. I hate traveling with carseats and try to do it as little as possible. We've gone out of our way over the past few years to only visit places where there is a carseat waiting for us on the other end, or where we can get around on public transit. Fortunately for me, my kids are finally hitting the booster seat phase of life (hurray!) and even more fortunately for me, I was sent an email about a great portable booster seat called BubbleBum. Here's a bit about it, from its website:
BubbleBum, the cost effective, portable, lightweight, brightly colored, inflatable car booster seat for children aged between 4-11, easily deflates and folds flat so that kids or moms can carry it in a backpack or purse, making it perfect for vacations, rental cars, taxis, school pick up or car pooling. This is such a great little product! After opening the package, I read through the instructions and then inflated the carseat. It didn't take much to blow it up, and I was done quickly. Then it was time to install the seat and my son in the car. The seatbelt straps were easy to thread through and attach to the BubbleBum. Ethan needed the positioning clip as well, which was included with the seat. Once everything and everyone was installed in the car, Ethan pronounced it very comfy. The seat didn't shift at all while we were driving. Ethan had to tell everyone we saw about his new booster seat- he's definitely a big fan! This seat is going to make our upcoming travels so much easier!
