Review: Siggi's Tubes

*Disclosure- I received this product to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

My husband and I had the great fortune last year of being able to take a short trip over to Iceland.  It was wonderful in SO many ways, including the breakfast food.  Icelandic yogurt is called skyr, and it's a nice, thick, not overly sweet yogurt.  We fell in love with it, and I was thrilled to find Icelandic yogurt in some stores here in Seattle as well!  Recently the kids were able to get into the action as well, with a new product from siggi's- skyr in tubes! Here's a bit about this product, from a press release that I received:

siggi’s is excited to announce the launch of their first kid’s product line: siggi’s squeezable, yogurt tubes. Just in time for back-to-school, the new line adheres to siggi’s commitment to low sugar, high protein & simple ingredients and is available in three flavors: strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry.
siggi’s is proud to offer a healthy alternative for kids.  Each tube has 40-50% less sugar than the leading tube yogurt, with over twice the protein.   With no artificial sweeteners, colorings, or preservatives, it’s simply a healthy snack for any lunchbox, breakfast, or snack on the go.
I like a lot of things about this yogurt.  It tastes great, the packaging appeals visually to my kids, and since the yogurt is thicker than other kids' yogurt in tubes, less spilling! The kids like the taste, and it's been a great way to help them get the dairy and protein that they need in their days.

This product is available at Whole Foods, so keep an eye out for it on your next shopping trip!
