Northwest Tradition this Sunday with 1st Annual
SEATTLE CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL
No Admission Fee, Thanks to Community Donations
October 12, 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Seattle Center
Seattle, WASH. - Music, dance, a puppet show, cooking demonstrations, musical instrument introductions, coloring, painting, wind chime building and so much more - the Seattle Center will be hoppin' this Sunday for the first annual Seattle Children's Festival, produced by Northwest Folklife in partnership with Seattle Center. An all-day (11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.) event with no admission fee, thanks to the generous donations of the community, this event is geared toward families with children ages 2 to 10.

Seattle Children's Festival
The first annual Seattle Children's Festival is open to all families, with no admission fee, thanks to community donations. A one-day multi-cultural festival Northwest Folklife will be "Celebrating Our Big Neighborhood" by bringing together local communities that showcase and celebrate families of the region. Look out for a fun Event Passport guide that will attendees on an interactive journey through the Festival.
Featuring performances from Recess Monkey, Caspar Babypants, Jump roping with Ropeworks, Simba Marimba, Crankies (hand-made movies made with felt and cloth), Brazilian Capoeira, Leela Kathak Dancers, Bollywood Dance from Rhythms of India, West African dance from Etienne Cakpo & Gansango, cooking demonstrations from PCC, a photo opportunity with Curious George (courtesy of KCTS9), and so much more.
