Even though it's almost the year 2015, my husband and I live in somewhat of a technological dark age- we do not own smartphones. However, we do have iPods and Windows phones that are capable of accessing the internet. And, since we live in very technology-loving city, pretty much everywhere we go has free wifi, so we are still able to get online when we are out and about. I didn't really think much about using free public wifi until I read several articles recently that discussed just how easy it is to get all sorts of personal information from devices connected to a public network. Not good! Happily for me, I recently received a new device that solves my internet issues- a personal mobile hotspot from AT&T!
AT&T offers several different mobile hotspots including the Unite Pro, the Unite and the Unite for GoPhone. I received the Unite for GoPhone, which does not require an annual contract or credit check. When you want to use the device, you can buy a monthly or weekly data plan. And, best of all, you can connect up to 10 Wi-Fi devices to it at a time!
Setting up my mobile hotspot only took a few minutes and I thought the instructions on the activation page were easy to understand and follow. It was also very simple to connect my iPod to the hotspot. I love easy-to-use technology!

So, if you're looking for a great gift for someone in your life who needs wifi access on the go, check out this great mobile hotspot from AT&T!
