I've had the great pleasure to work with Jabra on a number of occasions and I've never failed to be impressed by the company's continuing ability to come up with great products. They have several new ones out now- stay tuned for my second review coming up soon! But today I'm writing about a new headset, the Jabra Eclipse. Here's a bit about this headset, from a press release that I received:
New stylish headset with unrivalled sound quality· Jabra’s lightest Bluetooth® headset ever weighing just 5.5 grams· Premium music-grade speaker· Elegant and sleek design offering ultimate comfort· 10 hrs of talk time· Portable charging and storage case included
In the near future I'm finally leaving the dark ages and joining the world of people with a smart phone, so I'm really happy to have this great little headset on hand. I love how easy it was to connect to my iPod with Bluetooth. It literally took longer to get the box open than it did to get the headset connected and in use. I also really love the size of the headset and the fact that it comes with different size eargels. I have freakishly tiny ears, so fit of headsets/earbuds is often a big issue for me, but this headset fits comfortably.
I also love the fact that the case is also the charger. One less thing to carry in my purse. The headset stays safely connected to the charger with magnets, so there's no worry about it falling out. As far as the sound goes, I have been pleased with the quality and have had no issues listening to music or podcasts while using this headset. And it's easy to use too, just double tap the headset to answer calls, end calls or access Siri!
If you have someone in your life who is often on the go and on his/her phone, this is an excellent idea for a holiday gift!
