Evening Bible reading and prayers is a big part of my family's bedtime routine. We have several kids' Bibles and devotional books that we go through regularly. The kids love the stories and having us read to them, but often the books are too challenging for my beginning readers to read to themselves. We recently received a new book that presents devotions and prayers in the most simple fashion, so kids can get used to the idea of reading the Bible themselves. The book is called Say and Pray Devotions, and it's published by Tommy Nelson. Here's a bit about this charming little book:
Say & Pray Devotions features short devotions and lots of labeled illustrations so your little one can practice identifying objects and words on their own! This book is a great tool to start a devotional time with little ones, as it will help you teach them about God, and the labeled pictures will help start a life of faith.
This is a nice, hardcover book with sturdy pages, so it'll hold up to little fingers. The devotions and Bible readings are very simple and will be easy to read with your child and then have your child read with you as they get older. This would make an excellent gift for a family with little ones! Happy reading!
