Movie review: Storks!

*Disclosure: I received a copy of this movie to review for myself. I was not compensated in any other way and all opinions posted here are mine and mine alone.

It's been a busy week here at my home. Lots of last week of school things going on! But my kids and I found time for a much needed break earlier this week and sat down together to watch a new movie- Storks! In case you haven't heard of this one, here's the synopsis from a press release that I received:

Storks deliver babies…or at least they used to. Now they deliver packages for global internet retail giant Junior (Andy Samberg), the company’s top delivery stork, is about to be promoted when the Baby Factory is accidentally activated on his watch, producing an adorable – and wholly unauthorized – baby girl. Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble before the boss gets wise, Junior and his friend Tulip, the only human on Stork Mountain, race to make their first-ever baby drop, in a wild and revealing journey that could make more than one family whole and restore the storks’ true mission in the world.

It's getting more complicated to find a movie that appeals to both my 9-year-old son and 7 1/2-year-old daughter, and throwing me into the mix further complicates things, but this one was a hit for all of us. There was lots of laughter and we really enjoyed the story. The kids thought the baby was very cute and we all especially enjoyed the scenes with a funny (and very creative!) wolf pack. This would be a great present for the young movie lover in your life and a great bit of entertainment for Winter Break! We recommend!
